« Berliner Runde hosted by elle dit » Colaboradio
hosted by Rosanna Lovell with special guest Inga Gerner Nielsen.
Statistically women* are still underrepresented in most forms of media. In this instance we take raising your voice literally and produce a one hour show featuring women*'s voices. elle dit invites all women* in Berlin to make contributions - participating in a live show, contributing music, sound pieces, stories, interviews, readings, or any other kind of audio contribution. Although we focus on creative and cultural work and women* in the arts, contributions from all fields are welcome. Beginning in English and German, the show also aims to include contributions in other languages. elle dit is an inclusive platform which takes an intersectional and feminist approach to making radio and aims to include all women* (female identifying, trans, queer,…). Anyone interested can contact Colaboradio with the subject: elle dit.
Todays guest is Inga Gerner Nielsen:
Inga Gerner Nielsen was born in 1983 on the island Fyn in Denmark. She has combined a BA in Sociology and MA in Arts in Moderne Culture with artistically developing the genre of interventionist performance art installations together with groups in Scandinavia. IGN first started performing in the Danish/Austrian group SIGNA in 2003. In 2008 she co-founded the Copenhagen-based activist performance collective Club de la Faye and in 2010 the performance agency Fiction Pimps. In 2013 IGN directed the critically acclaimed, large-scale performance installation The Velvet State, framing The Roskilde Festival's Art Zone. In the same year she and choreographer Sarah Armstrong initiated the project Embodying Science, reflecting the intersection of art and science. In 2015 IGN worked on the dramaturgy of HEAVENs production of Music4Giants at the PSi Fluid Sounds Festival. Her most recent performance works are the one-to-one performance Seeing Pink Narcissus at Gallery 68 Squaremetres in Copenhagen and The Queeng of Ama’r in Hal Aterlierhaus Leipzig, winner of the Leipzig Bewegungskunstpreis.
