This radio show is presented and produced by the seminar group Radio & Feminism, hosted by Fem*_Music*_ at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). In this show the building of the music faculty, where the seminar took place, becomes the object of inquiry through audio recordings and reflections. Inspired by reading texts about experimental radio practice and broadcasting, feminist radio groups and sound walks, as well as the groups own experiences during the seminar, the radio show shares the sounds and thoughts evoked by the building.

FEM*_ MUSIC*_ is a participatory and non-hierarchical project which began in 2016 and which deals with the topic of Feminism in contemporary music production from various perspectives. / FEM*_MUSIC*_ ist ein einzigartig partizipatives und möglichst hierarchiearmes Projekt, das seit 2016 existiert und sich mit dem Thema Feminismus im gesamten Feld der Produktion zeitgenössischer Musik unter verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten beschäftigt.
