The Rowan tree (Sorbus aucuparia), also known as mountain ash, belongs to the Rosaceae family. Hardy and adaptable, Rowan trees thrive in various climates and are known for their graceful appearance, feathery leaves, and clusters of bright red/orange berries in autumn. Deeply rooted in folklore, where it was believed to offer protection from evil spirits. Often seen as a guardian tree. We also have the pleasure of interviewing Elisabeth Brookes, an herbalist, astrologer, author, teacher and counsellor.
