« Radyo Within Kollektiv » Angst Within Radio

In our second program on Collaboradio, we present a montage composed of excerpts from academics, writers and artists from different fields. It is a “collective montage” of trimmed audio materials. We intend to claim our Angst once again! The program brings together old and new recordings, short interviews, sounds from our archives and collections, audio fragments from invited guests and a selection of music pieces that feed from contemporary forms of anxiety and unease. This cut and assembled sound material is a way of voicing and transforming our anxieties and yours while you listen. Our first program was a performative attempt to record anxiety and restlessness live, inside a room. This attempt gave rise to what we called Angst Kışkışlaması - a method of chasing away angst. Radyo Within Kollektiv brings together Ceren Oykut, Seçil Yersel, Özge Açıkkol, and Melih Sarıgöl, four artists from Türkiye now based in Berlin. They produce conceptual radio programs revolving around the topic of solidarity with civil society and individual art productions in Türkiye. Their broadcasts weave together conversations, soundscapes, and live music created in collaboration with various musicians, artists and producers.
