« Archive of waiting »
In an era where visa and residency processes shape lives, this living archive illuminates the invisible geographies of migration and belonging. Collaborating with residents navigating temporary status, the project collects audio interviews, letters, and informal documents to explore how prolonged limbo affects identity, time perception, stability, and well-being. The project presents these stories through audio recordings, photos and a digital platform, allowing global access and participation. By sharing personal experiences behind bureaucracy, the project humanizes statistics and fosters empathy, dialogue, and understanding. All materials will be licensed according to the wishes of the participants, contributing to Free Knowledge by enabling anyone to access, share and use these narratives, amplifying marginalized voices and offering insight into the emotional and social impacts of migration processes.
