Rare Frequenz ist eine Radiosendung, Podcast und Website über experimentellen, elektronischen, Improvisation, Lärm, Avant-Pop und andere ungewöhnliche Musik.
On April 22, 2010, Jonathan Ward of the wonderful Excavated Shellac mp3 blog was my guest in the studio. Jonathan shared a wonderful selection of music from his collection of 78s from around the world, none of which had appeared on the blog or on his new compilation, Excavated Shellac: Strings, which has just been released on the Parlortone label. The fidelity of the recording is a little wobbly, but the music is glorious. Go to Spinitron.com for the full playlist. Enjoy!
