noise, noise, silence

'noise (e.g. hum), noise (e.g. bang), silence' is a six-channel installation that contains field recordings (some pure, some manipulated) from Berlin, Buenos Aires, Prague, Spain and Ireland. They are combined to form a new kind of audio journey that is essentially in the listener's own head, only being helped along by the sounds that are heard.

This installation is being presented tomorrow, 26th February in Team Titanic as part of the first edition of Scissor a new event series dedicated to presenting contemporary durational and time-based art across all media. Organised by Kata Kovács and Tom O’Doherty. Also exhibiting are Kovács/O’Doherty and Fedora Romita
