IndieRE #74 by Radio Corax, Halle

Trideseta oddaja iz nove serije IndieRE 2.0. V seriji IndieRE v produkciji in mednarodni izmenjavi radijske vsebine sodelujemo ljubljanski Radio Študent, hrvaški Radio Student, francoska mreža Radio Campus, Radio Corax iz Halleja v Nemčiji, EMA-RTV iz Španije, irski Near FM, madžarski Civil Radio in avstrijski Radio Helsinki.

The 74th edition of IndieRE produced by Radio Corax mainly features artists playing on the Rage Generation Festival, an event that is planned to happen this september in Halle (Saale). After diving a bit into the lineup we continue with more releases from Halle. This episode discovers local artists with styles & aesthetics that seem to derive from MTV.

We tune in with a song about Halle-Neustadt by Sorry3000. This brings us to a place where the Rage Generation Festival will happen. The episode features an interview with Leonie from The Jeals who is planning the Rage Generation Festival at Angersdorfer Teiche in Halle-Neustadt. We'll guide you through a few highlights of the festival, for example the headliner, a presumed dead band called Itchy, who are very much alive and raise nostalgic teenage rock feelings. We leave the stream of the Rage Generation mills and continue with more Halle-based bands from different genres. The category »Fesch« features the song Human by Annisokay with the most blasting sounds of this show. Anyway the show ends soft with indie-pop tunes by L.e.a.n.d.e.r and Lightcap.

IndieRE - Independent Radio Exchange

Was macht die lokale Musikszene Sevillas aus? Vor welchen besonderen Herausforderungen stehen Nachwuchskünstler:innen in Budapest angesichts der dortigen politischen Situation? Welche Verbindungen und Gemeinsamkeiten lassen sich zwischen der Independent Musikkultur in Graz, Halle und Dublin finden und was unterscheidet sie? Welchen Spielraum haben alternative Künstler:innen in der heutigen digitalen Musikindustrie?

Mit solchen und weiteren Fragen werden sich Radio Študent aus Ljubljana, das Netzwerk verschiedener französischer Uniradios namens Radio Campus, Radio CORAX aus Halle (Saale), EMA-RTV aus Sevilla, Radio Helsinki aus Graz, Near FM aus Dublin, Radio Student aus Zagreb und Civil Radio aus Budapest beschäftigen. Gemeinsam arbeiten sie dafür im Rahmen des EU-Projekts "Independent Radio Exchange" für die nächsten zwei Jahre zusammen.
