Maurizio Nannucci – about art, sound art and ZONA radio, interview by Brane Zorman for radioCona RADIO AS AN ARTS SPACE - STATION ZONE broadcast, jan 2011
On Wednesday 19th - sunday 23th January, 2011, radioCona broadcasted live each day between 4 and 11pm on FM 88.8MHz (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and on the internet stream.
radioCona RADIO AS AN ARTS SPACE - STATION ZONE (curated by Irena Pivka, Ilari Valbonesi in Brane Zorman) acted as a platform for sound art works and productions. The project presented and curated a selection the soundart archives from institutions, museums, archives, individuals, artists: SoundArtMuseum, RAM Live, International Centre of Graphic Arts (MGLC), radioCona, Radio Študent, Maurizio Nannucci, artists archives, ZVO.ČI.TI (So.und.ing) project, interviews and talks.
RadioCona presented an exclusive interview with audio sound art and visual artist Maurizio Nannucci with sound materials from his ZONA archives. Interview was recorded via Skype on 14 th of january 2011.
We will listen half of a programme since the whole production piece is almost two hours long.
For the end please be careful about the distinction between ZONA radio and radioCona.
ZONA Radio was a project by Maurizio Nannucci in Italy in seventies last century. A wast selection of sound art works from that time is in a Nannucci's private collection Zona Archives.
