Making a mix tape or CD for a love interest is serious business. 11 years ago this month, I gifted a special mix to a casual work acquaintance and started a relationship that would involve a whirlwind romance, a reluctant sort of long-distance relationship, love and adventure abroad, marriage, and even a baby. Tonight it's the mix CD that started it all. Between playing some tracks, I will interview the recipient of this mix, Douglas Floyd.
