"XB Sunday Matinee is a series of monthly events (every second Sunday of the month) dedicated to music lovers -or music nerds… It take place in the afternoon from 4pm to 7pm. Sunday afternoon it’s a strange time, some of us are busy working out an hangover, others anxious for the Monday to come, others are enjoying a free day. So, why not spend it together!?! We simply intend to put up shows of local bands offering music enthusiasts an open, supportive and respectful environment where to play. We encourage people that do ‘zines or handcrafts (or just anyone who wants to share something) to come along. Everyone which respect other people is welcome. With the XB Sunday Matinee we endeavour to offer a space where touring band can play, and meet other people. We want to offer a smoke-free event, so that everyone including children can come around and enjoy music. We do not ostracize smokers, on the contrary we offer a big and comfortable courtyard to hang out and get their nicotine fix… We want to offer an event without selfies and facebook. Here we can dance, speak and meet in person and this is going to be great even without mass documentation!
